We are lovers of Jesus Christ that believe in Discipleship and following in the footsteps of the only perfect One! We strive to be an expression of His love in our everyday lives (Ephesians 5:1-2), and to love one another in the same way in which He first loved us (1 John 4:19)! We believe that the Word of God is sufficient for all of our needs (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Holy Spirit is with us, John 14:26-27 it says, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful."
We have the assurance, that if we pursue Him in all areas, He will be the one to change what needs changing. As we take up our crosses daily, and continue to let go of our selfish desires, we are able to see that He is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9)! Thank You Jesus, what a relief, this is all for a purpose, (2 Corinthians 12:10). We can boast about His greatness and our weakness, this is an awesome way to make sure that Christ stays on the throne, as Hebrews 4:15-16 says, "For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need." Hallelujah! Thank you LORD!
Now you won't find a bunch of certifications, doctorates, degrees or any such thing listed under
the names of our staff, nor will you see this on business cards etcetera.
This too, is for a purpose. . . The Lord clearly states:
Matthew 23:8: "But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, and you all are brothers. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. Do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is, Christ."
Matthew 23:11-12: "But the greatest among you shall be your servant. Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted."
His word also says that, He qualifies the called, and so we focus less on being qualified, and more on knowing Him, His word, teachings, examples and the realization that we only love since He loved us first.
Marital, engagement, pre-engagement, parenting, work issues, recovery, re-entry to society, post-incarceration, trauma, drug and/or alcohol abuse, pre or post-divorce, chronic illness, PTSD, codependency, domestic violence recovery, narcissism, sexual trauma, pornography, same sex attractions, abandonment, (really any of the many issues that a person may be struggling with)! We have coaches at all levels of training. Any sports team needs a coach, right? We as a body of Christ can sometimes use some guidance to help get back to Him.
We have housing and communities for believers to come together to love God and serve people, in our everyday lives! We are an expression of His great works! We are often better together when it comes to training in righteousness! It often times helps to be around fellow believers and we have the place for that to help develop accountability and healthy habits to incorporate Christ into your daily living!
